چکیده
A role-playing game (RPG) is a video genre in which players assume the roles of characters fictional setting. This study examined possibility applying an RPG task to human associative learning. Specifically, it latent inhibition and context-specific using task. In task, conditioned unconditioned stimuli were monster treasure obtained battling monster, respectively. Conditioning was conducted by presenting after battle. The experimental context location where battle occurred. Participants asked make judgments about extent each they encountered would likely have treasure. Prior conditioning, treatment not obtaining unlikely expect treasure, even if received subsequent (i.e., inhibition). Furthermore, when changed, disappeared These observed phenomena suggested that may be employed as tool extend research regarding

Niacin skin flush test: a research tool for studying schizophrenia.
BACKGROUND A body of biochemical evidence suggests that abnormal phospholipid metabolism may play a role in the etiology of schizophrenia, and possibly, other psychiatric and neurological diseases. Niacin, a B-complex vitamin, induces prostaglandin synthesis, vasodilatation, and skin flushing when applied as a solution on the skin or taken orally. In schizophrenia, diminished or absent skin res...

This paper introduces Undercurrents, a computer-based gameplay tool for providing additional communication and media streams during tabletop roleplaying sessions. Based upon a client-server architecture, the system is intended to unobtrusively support secret communication, timing of audio and visual presentations to game events, and real-time documentation of the game session. Potential end use...
متن کاملA multi-agent game for studying human decision-making
Understanding how human beings delegate tasks to trustees when presented with reputation information is important for building trust models for human-agent collectives. However, there is a lack of suitable platforms for building large scale datasets on this topic. We describe a demonstration of a multi-agent game for training students in the practice of Agile software engineering. Through inter...
